Little Hike

Josh knew of a little hike that he wanted to do today. It was just my style: close to home, paved, not to steep, baby bear capable, in the trees with a waterfall at the end! We will go camping up there one of these weekends. We clocked it and its only 20 miles to the lake, 8 to some camping spots by the river!!!! Again just my style! If all hell breaks loose we can just go home!

Bear only lasted about 10 ft before she wanted daddy to carry her.

This is her new "cheese" face. Lucky me.

In her defence her little legs did a lot of work. We stopped for a break before we hiked on.

We made it!

After the hike and running most of the way back we went and found a shady spot to eat lunch. Bear liked the down part much better then the going up.

Lunch on a stump... eating cookies... life is good!

First Big Scrap

We were outside playing yesterday and somehow her feet got tangled and this is what we ended up with... our first big scrap. She had a few on the knees but nothing this good!

Does this make her officially a big girl?!

Nurture vs. Nature

Friday morning breakfast at the Watson house. She wouldn't have it any other way!!! And yes they each got a bite every time!

I say nature... cause as you all know i don't really do well nurturing this part of my child. She seems to get it figured out on her own. Yesterday all day long it was "monkey crying monkey crying", then lots of hugs and kisses and pats on the back. The only thing worse then that, is if the monkey was actually crying all day!!!! Two of many animals go with us where ever we go....she didn't get it from me!

Around the house in July

June is going quickly and July is on its way. We will have lots of guests and adventures to report on soon. But in the mean time here is a little of us hanging out in June!

But atleast she puts it all back when she is done. I couldnt ask for better help!

Since we got here she has been complaining about the sun....sunny sunny she whines when it is in her eyes. So she puts on her hat and/or glasses every time we go somewhere!
