6 months!

So on Tuesday we had our six month check up..... where did the time go. I woke up and had a five month old. Boy oh boy.

17lbs 14oz 27 inches long

and still a pin head... but she did go up 5% on that category!!

Busy

It has been a really busy end of the month. Here is a little of how it went:

Friday 20th: I thought I saw two white spots in Bears mouth. She has been slobbering for a good three months and nothing has happened.

Saturday: Gums were swollen and Bear was crabby

Sunday: Could feel teeth coming through gums, still crabby

Monday: Grandpa watson had knee surgery- got it totally replaced with a new younger one!

Tuesday: went to see grandpa in the hospital after having the six month check up, which we got shots at... needless to say she was crabby that day as well. Well let me be honest... in the hospital she was a perfect angel. She was just a bear on the way home and in the evenings. So to her defense for all the driving and missed naps she did well!!

Wednesday: spent a large part of the day in town visiting with grandpa. In the hospital they have therapy dogs go around. Grandpa was NOT impressed... after all he has his own "therapy baby"!

Thursday: day off at home (grandpa moved back home)

Friday: Teeth no longer swollen, still crabby, but now I think it is from being tired. Spent the day with grandma and grandpa and ROLLED OVER for the first time ever all by herself!!!!!!! See video at end of post... many videos.

then next week.... maybe wednesday give or take a day we are headed to VA to visit robyn and the boys!!!

So busy busy busy, traveling, visiting, learning all kinds of new skills

I managed to get a few happy pics out of her during all of that.

Here she is with her new hat from Grandma Ruth, she also got a matching shirt and pants... mom didn't want to push her luck, it was right before cereal and bedtime so we don't have pics of the whole outfit!

On our way out the door one day, arms out as always. When i set her down in my chair if I don't put her arms down to her sides she will sit with them out for 5 min or more!

Our neighbor shared a teething cookie with us. We tried it out. She liked it only if mommy would hold it for her... just like all her teething toys!

I couldn't decide which video sooo naturally I just loaded all of them! enjoy!

I think i might have to print these three out and hang on the wall. I was organizing my millions and millions of pics of bear and started playing with some of them... this is what i ended up with.

The Sun Hat gets the best of her! Aunt Dee got her a couple of sun hats and we had to try them out this weekend. She helped us do some yard work and wash daddy's car!

NEW BABIES

Richard and Caroline Watson just had their little boy!!! We are all so excited for them.

5 3/4 lbs and 19 inches of a good looking baby!

Russ and Joan Dobransky (Billies son) also just had a baby on Feb 20th.

Aunt Mary is in town for a week, so this last weekend we all met up in Tuscon at Aunt Dee and Uncle Bills house for lunch. It was great to meet Aunt Mary and see Bill and Dee again

Catching Up

I have no need to help with my mouth while she eats. She has "open wide" down pat!!!! I can't seem to shovel it in fast enough to keep her happy!!!

Monica the neighbor let us borrow her "bumbo" chair so Bear can sit up and play and I don't have to prop her up between my legs. I am already to old to sit on the floor!!!

Buddha Body! I can't decide if she looks more like me or grandpa watson... the body that is!!

Playing with daddy is always the most fun. Sometime mom has to look away for fear of damage to the baby. She however seems to love it!

Suddenly the fun starts to look a little more like torture!!!!
