Happy Halloween!
Our little bear was a strawberry for the past two days and what a cute one she made!
Mommy is so proud of her little strawberry

Moms Club Trunk or Treat!
Friday night we went to a "safe" trick-or-treat event that the moms club was doing. Had pizza and hung out. Bear was a little to young to go around and get candy. But we had a good time anyway.

Hanging out

Carving Pumpkins at the Frain's.
Rynes, Lydias, and Jacks

Close up of Jacks monkey pumpkin. Thomas (dad) did a great job on it!
Close up of Ryne and Lydias, little more traditional but not bad for a bunch of parents that had not carved pumpkins in many many years.
Barrett and Thomas lining them up for the photo shoot
Bear sizing up her pumpkin and deciding what kind of face she wanted.

WALKING!!!!!!!

Bear took a few steps the day before her birthday and the day of her birthday but would not really do more then three or four steps. So we did lots of practicing and just last week she all of a sudden took off. Now she will let go of our hand, when before you couldn't get your finger out of her Kung Fu death grip. So we are pretty excited that we have arrived! And here is video to prove it. This was the third day of walking!

Say cheese...
Snuggling the bear and playing with the tractor that Grandpa Ross got her!!!

Double trouble!
Ryne came over to play with us and here is what we did: Train play
"Pants Hat"
(I enjoyed it as much as they did!)
and getting into trouble with each other.
Bear being naughty with her little pointer finger. It is small but it can get her into a lot of trouble!
Bath time. A pic of her in the overflow drain of the tub!!! She loves to look at herself in it, it's just like a mirror!

Playing and Learning

Bear is getting so so close to walking on her own. We got her some push toys to practice with... here she is pushing her new bear from Uncle Nate around!

Why get toys when the box will do just fine. She is not much of a climber... as of yet. She is great on stairs but has not discovered the couch or anything like that. She got up on the box and couldn't figure out how to get back off. I know it is as low as a stair but some how it confused her and she got a little upset over it. I had to help her down.

Birthday in Washington

For Lydias Birthday we headed to Washington to spend it with Aunt Jen and Uncle Monte. Grandma Ross was also able to drive over so it was a great time for all of us. Even though we were away from family and friends in AZ we had a good time, Montes family made us feel right at home.
My Favorite pic of the week!
We sing happy bday and bring out the bear cake!

She is not sure what to do with it...she needs some help from mom and dad. Plus i don't think she liked having her hand dirty!

Mommy shows her that she can touch it!
She enjoyed it at least a little. Grandma making the cake... She did an amazing job! They were perfect!

First Steps

Bear took her first steps on her own the day before her birthday. We managed to get a few of them on video. We were pretty excited, we thought it would be a while before we got there. I guess she just wanted to show off for Uncle Monte and Aunt Jen!

Steptoe Butte

We took an afternoon to check out the view of the butte. It was really cool, you could see forever... or so it seemed!

Happy Family Bear ontop of the world!
