Lydia Ann Watson

Birth Announcement:

Lydia Ann Watson arrived on September 22, 2008 at 10:20am.

She weighed in at 8 lbs 1oz and measured 21 inches long.

Here is a little video of her hanging out on her second day at home.

Lydia has two modes so far... either wide awake or passed out. There is no in between!

Here is our baby bear sound asleep, she hates her arms wrapped up, they are always out in front of her, or up covering her face.

She was wide awake yesterday after she ate, so we tried out the bouncy chair, which we think she liked.

Lydia is just like dad... or is dad just like Lydia?! Either way in the end I am pretty sure when she is 16 she will have dad wrapped around her little finger! We are in trouble already!

Belly Update 38 Weeks!!!

So here is the last of the belly shots. Lydia is due on the 23rd but can show up any day now. We are as ready as you can be for such a huge change in our lives. Excited and scared all at the same time.

The first time we tried to put the crib together I was convinced we were missing a part, that we had to use in step ONE!! Call the company... turns out I was wrong. So the question is: Should you have a kid if you can't figure out how to put the crib together. There should have been a test or something!!!! Well we eventually got it put together and we LOVE IT! (Thanks dad)

Josh wanted to do a fabric wall for her. So here is what I made!

We still need to put up some shelves, make a side table and hang some great hangings that we got from family and friends. However I think we have a good start!
