Girly Day

Today was a very busy girly girls day! We started off with a tea party, which of course always begins with dressing up. This is a Tu-Tu that either I or Amber wore when we were 5ish! So it is over 20 yrs old. I keep telling her it is very fragile, we will see how long they last actually getting used. She loves them!
Then we had the tea party with the new Tea Set from Grandma Michelle. Thanks so much!

My cup runeth over!
As any girls day usually goes, we took a trip to the store for some shopping. Then after getting home we did some mani and pedis! Bear did mine all by herself and then did daddy's when he got home. She kept painting a nail and then throwing up her hands and saying "perfect"! all i was worried about was keeping the polish off of everything. We managed to only get it on her pretty new shirt.... ops! Live and learn!
I think after all that we will call it a day. That is more then enough "girl" for me in one day!

Aunt Jen and Uncle Monte came to visit for Jens B-Day. Bear helped me make her some birthday cookies.
While rolling them into "balls" bear kept rolling hers into "dog poopie" and then showing it to me. Kind of gross and kind of funny! So we made dog poopie cookies for Aunt Jen and loved every moment of it!
Bear is convinced that flour is "yummy," after she started eating it by the handfuls i finally cut her off.
Since it wont stop snowing here we did a spring theme... here is what we ended up with! Happy Birthday Aunt Jen!Then we dyed Easter Eggs with Jen
Dirty hand that kept getting dunked somehow.
Three Stooges with our spoils!

Our first Yellowstone Trip

While Jen and Monte were here we also went to Yellowstone for a few days. It was incredible to see it in the winter and hard to narrow down the pics. If you want a few more check out Jens blog (link to the right).
Daddy and bear head out up the board walk to see some steam, hot pots of water and cool formations!
Peaking threw the rails to see the steam and hot water
Two peas in...a bunch o steam
This is what we were supposed to see....
This is what we actually saw!
Thought this was totally cool, it was right off the boardwalk.

Happy Easter Everyone!

This is the first year we celebrated Easter with bear! She was really excited and wanted to give the Easter bunny a great big hug when he came to the house. We saw him one day at the mall but she didn't want to give him a hug that day... and mommy never got back to going over there again... ops maybe next year!
bear first checking out her Easter basket.
Enjoying the lute. She is all into dresses all of a sudden so against my own personal preference the Easter Bunny brought her some skirts and dresses, plus she can't have most of the candy so it works out great.
Easter Egg hunting
Finding more and more eggs!
Checking out basket!
