Bath time!

Josh Lydia and I went to CA this last weekend to visit BJ, Robyn and the boys! They will be there for a month and Josh had a three day weekend. So we invited ourselves up. Thanks for letting us crash your pad!!!

I took my camera with grand ideas of how many pics i would take of the cousins: hugging, playing in the sand, making pretend pizza, handing out, paying peek a boo, splashing in the water on the beach... I got it out once and here is what i have!

While both Bj and I were leaning over the edge of the tub washing our kids... he said "I bet you never imagined doing this together" He is right, it is a little weird to be bathing OUR KIDS together. WE have kids??? Are we that old?? That mature??? That grown up?? My, where has the time gone!!!

I got out her christmas gift from granpa ross. She loves the blocks. Right now i think they are fun to chew on... but they will grow with her so that is nice!

After her naps she usually goes crazy in the crib practicing her crawl!

Summer is HERE!!!

Summer has arrived much to our surprise. Bear is LOVING the pool and new friends to play with!!! Mommy makes her wear silly stuff like hats, glasses and log sleeves but o-well!!! My mom was crazy about the sun and so I must be as well!!!

All in a Days work

Progress of scooting: she started at the book. Then scooted over off the blanket (Pic 1) and promptly barfed on the carpet! We put her back on the blanket (p2) and she scooted (p3) until she was touching the tv stand(p4) all the while moving backwards!

Enjoy... i think Jack taught her this one!

There goes another month!

8 months!

Bear has been working hard on learning all kinds of new skills and fun things. Her personality is coming out and she is really starting to be a lot of fun!!! She loves to have her two teeth brushed. As soon as she sees the brush coming she gets a huge smile and starts going crazy. She is always making funny faces and loves to smile and laugh.

She has finally started to use her legs and can stand up like a big girl!!!! No more spaghetti legs!

Just last week she started to push up on all fours and rock back and forth!!! She has been scooting around for a while but crawling is on its way!!

Here is the video that i was trying to upload last time. I really think this helped her to start using her legs... now she is standing!!!!!

Mom did a little photo shoot in front of the flowers. This is the only good one of millions. There are many of bear trying to eat and pull the flowers out!!!

Then we had some lunch with the pretty flower!

Jack, the neighbor baby let us borrow his jumper so bear could work on her leg strength... it is a love/hate relationship. Today we love it!( uhh having trouble with video maybe it will be here soon!)

We Surprised Aunt Jen!

Ok so where do I start... Well Josh Lydia and I surprised Aunt Jen a few days after her birthday. Monte and I did a wonderful job sneaking behind her back so we would not be found out. It was a fantastic trip. Jen has pics on her blog if you feel like you need more then the million I have here!
