How i choose to look at life in Bozeman

Life in Bozeman is not perfect, we have a great house but we are renting. We live in Mt but next to a freeway. We are closer to "town" then maricopa was but we still have a drive... But this is how i choose to look at life in bozeman:

We are surrounded by these beautiful mountains, so it might get cold, we might be renting but really look at these, take a deep breath and the day is a great one!

Ode to my white toilet

Oh white toilet, great great white toilet, how i love you so much now. I used to hate you when you were blue and streaked. I thought i might get a disease from you when i sat apon the thrown to do my business. But the love affair has begun after an hour of huffing fumes and molding you into the beautiful white toilet that i now see before me! Great great white toilet, oh toilet how i love you!

It is days like this that i have fully and completly earned my days at home eating bon bons and watching soaps. What i would have given this afternoon to have a real job to go to, to get to sit at a desk and be bored, surf the net and get paid for it. I earned the right to take a nap, sleep in late, have a messy house or not cook dinner. After sitting on my knees elbow deep in someone elses dirty toilet scrubbing the shit out of it with my hands and a scrubby for an hour... i dare you to tell me staying at home is easy!!!

We made it!!!

So this weekend was the weekend of the big move... and we made it!!! After packing for a month or so and a week of emptying the house and getting organized it all went off with out a hitch. Thanks to everyone who helped out in the process.

We took three days to get there, one night in Utah at a hotel, one night at moms in southern idaho and then we arrived to be greeted by more snow and bad weather.

Here was the view of jen and I for two days straight. The truck was so slow up the hills that it was just easier for us to follow them... instead of lose them.

Bear was an angle during the drive. She even took a few naps on the way. Look close and you can see her pirate eye is open.

The morning we woke up at the hotel to see about three inches of snow on our car. No pants, coats, gloves, scrapers or anything warm! Ohhh boy welcome back to the rest of the world.

On our way through Salt Lake City we got to see Krista and Wyatt, they braved the snowy roads to come have brunch with us. It was so great to see them.

Then we stayed at moms for the night.... Amber, Dusty and the kids came over and brought their cow and ropes. It was fun for everyone including monte and josh.

We are still working on setteling in but so far it is good. We like the house and other then the cold weather so soon, we are happy to be here. Any and all of you are invited to come visit anytime you want, we have more then enough room! Just email or call to book your reservation!
